Project Overview:

Arloon Plants is an educational application that leverages augmented reality (AR) to provide an immersive learning experience about the inner workings of plants. Designed to be lightweight and user-friendly, the app occupies approximately 50 megabytes of storage, making it accessible for a wide range of devices.

Role and Contributions:

As a key member of the art team for this project, I contributed to the visual and interactive elements that bring the educational content to life. My role involved creating detailed and accurate representations of plant structures, ensuring that the AR visuals were both scientifically accurate and engaging for users.

Key Features:

  • Augmented Reality Integration: The app uses AR to display the internal anatomy of plants, allowing users to explore and interact with detailed 3D models of plant structures such as roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
  • Educational Content: Designed for students and educators, Arloon Plants provides comprehensive information on plant biology. The app covers various topics including photosynthesis, respiration, and plant reproduction, presented in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Interactive Learning: Users can rotate, zoom, and explore the 3D models of plants, gaining a deeper understanding of their anatomy and functions. Interactive quizzes and exercises reinforce learning and make the educational process engaging and fun.
  • Lightweight and Efficient: Despite its rich content and advanced AR features, Arloon Plants is optimized to be a very light app, requiring only about 50 megabytes of storage space. This ensures that it can be easily downloaded and used on a variety of devices without requiring extensive storage capacity.

Visual and Technical Achievements:
